Paint & Body

With an in-house paint and body shop, we offer artisan-quality autobody craftsmanship and custom paint jobs to your specification.

Whether you want 3-stage special effects or simple flat black, we can deliver a beautiful coat of paint. But the vast majority of a successful paint job lies in the prep work; paint hides nothing. In addition to skilled spraywork, our body technicians offer expertise in panel fitment and alignment; welding, grinding, and filling; block sanding and wet sanding to remove waves, pinholes, and other imperfections; and color sanding and buffing to achieve a mirror-smooth polish.

We use De Beer and House of Kolor award-winning products; whether matching an original shade, choosing a unique color, or creating a one-of-a-kind formula, our focus is a high-end finish that you will be proud to show off.

A quality shop doesn’t mind showing you their process firsthand so you can see where your money is going. We invite you to tour our facility and check out the goods for yourself. You will find we we work with extreme care and precision to put out an excellent product that you can enjoy for many years.

Steps of our complete paint job include:

Disassembly and tear down
Stripping away old paint, rust, and grime
Metal work including rust repair and panel replacement
Panel hanging and gapping
Bodywork including applying primers, body filler (i.e. Bondo), and sealers, as well as extensive blocking, sanding, smoothing, and surface prep
Disassembly, prep, mask, and tape
Spraying multiple layers of paint and clear coat
Color sanding and buffing
Reassembly

We’d love to meet you and discuss a plan for your project. Call 972-442-9793 or contact us online today.

We occasionally receive inquiries about painting over old paint or someone else’s bodywork. In such a situation, there is no way to know what materials were used, when the outside work was done, or whether it was done properly. Media blasting, whether through our shop or elsewhere, is highly recommended to ensure a clean palette for bodywork. We are unable to guarantee any paintwork over previous surface work done outside of our shop due to potential chemical reactions beyond our control.

I want some one who is good and am willing to pay for a top quality custom paint job. I am not interested in someone who has minimal experience painting pear and candy.

    1. Joe, we apologize that we cannot help you with your project. We have sent you an email with a local recommendation. Best of luck and please let us know if we can be of assistance in the future. Thanks!

    1. Hi Rico, thank you for looking to our shop for your Impala. Unfortunately, we primarily work on 1973 and older models. We have sent you an email with a few recommendations for shops that handle late model customizations, hope you find it helpful.

    1. Hi, we appreciate your inquiry into our shop. We are a full frame-off restoration shop focusing on 1973 and older models. All services are charged out by the hour; we have a rate schedule for media blasting, fabrication and welding, bodywork, paint, mechanical, and teardown/assembly. The amount of time required on an individual project can vary greatly depending on the vehicle’s needs and owner’s wants; likewise, the parts and materials required for any given project are a large variable in total cost. We recommend new customers contact us by phone or schedule a meeting for a more in-depth discussion about project needs and goals as well as applicable rates for each phase of work. Thanks!

    1. Tiffany, thank you for your interest in our shop to work on your mom’s Camaro. That green one you see above was actually also restored by the family of the owner (who had bought it new many years ago) as a surprise for him – it was a great build. Unfortunately we cannot give out any numbers without seeing the vehicle, noting its current condition, understanding how far you want to go with the restoration, or what level you would like to take it to. Each car is different and there are many variables to consider. We sent you an email and would like to have the opportunity to have a conversation in greater depth as well as take a look at the car if possible. Please let us know your availability and we look forward to speaking with you.
