This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which North Texas Customs, LLC collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the http://www.northtxcustoms.com website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by North Texas Customs, LLC.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

Non-personal identification information

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

We do not currently allow image upload to the website; however if this was an option in the future, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

To improve your experience on our site, we may use ‘cookies.’ Cookies are an industry standard and most major websites use them. A cookie is a small text file that our site may place on your computer as a tool to remember your preferences. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

Contact forms

The coding language in the contact form on this Site uses PHP sessions, which use cookies by default for functionality. This data is not stored in the database, nor are there are third party cookies for tracking or targeting involved in the submitting a contact form. North Texas Customs, LLC may choose to keep contact form submissions for a certain period of time for customer service purposes, but we do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States. Google Analytics does not identify individual Users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy and the Google Analytics privacy documentation for more information. 

To provide website visitors the ability to prevent their data from being used by Google Analytics, you may install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

How we use collected information

North Texas Customs, LLC may collect and use Users’ personal information for the following purposes:

Who we share your data with

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users’ personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and Users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For Users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All registered Users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Contact forms are submitted via email.

If you communicate with North Texas Customs, LLC by sending an email, your email address may be retained for further communication with you in connection with processing your request or as provided by law. Do not send any sensitive or confidential information in the body of, or as an attachment to, an electronic mail message unless the data is adequately encrypted. Data sent via email is not inherently secured or encrypted. Any information contained in an email message or attachment may be retained and stored by North Texas Customs, LLC.

Electronic newsletters

If a User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they may receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.

Advertising

Ads appearing on our Site may be delivered to Users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile non personal identification information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. Google Adsense

Some advertising may be served by Google. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to Users based on their visit to our Site and other sites on the Internet. This Site utilizes protective technologies and a continuously monitored security framework to mitigate the risks of website compromises and respond to issues if they arise. We strive to keep our content management system and related software up-to-date at all times. We also have a multi-step plan in place to identify, protect against, detect, respond to, and recover from potential hacking.

Third party sites, apps, and platforms

Our Site may include links to third-party sites, apps and social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google+, and LinkedIn. Automated decision making

Automated decision making is a decision based solely on automated User data processing, with no human involvement in the decision process; for example, allowing customers to apply for credit, or aggregating their data into an advertising profile. We don’t currently, but may choose in the future to use automated decision making to segment and target product offers based on our customers’ demands and needs. In that event, this policy will be updated with information about how the information is used, what decisions are made with aggregated data, and what rights Users have over decisions made without human intervention.

North Texas Customs, LLC has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. Any modifications or updates shall be effective upon posting to the Site.
